What is Rinsada?
Rinsada is a medical device used in a doctor's office to clean the eye's surface. It works by flushing sterile saline into the conjunctival fornix, which is hard to reach. This treatment helps with dry eyes and allergies by washing away trapped pollen, bacteria, biofilm, and inflammatory proteins.
How it Works
Rinsada uses an innovative irrigating lid retractor device that is gently placed under the eyelid. Then sterile saline is applied simultaneously across the inner surfaces of the eyelids and the eyeball, thereby removing microscopic irritants and debris that standard eye drops or blinking cannot wash away. This helps reset the tear film and lower surface eye inflammation.
